CLAIRTON CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SECRETARY

Clairton City School District is seeking the following contracted 12-month, full-time position, must be available to begin immediately:
Accounts Payable Secretary (Job Description can be found on the District Website under employment www.ccsdbears.org).

Bachelors or Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field. (Extensive, relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)

Demonstrated competencies in mathematics, general accounting, typing, filing, organizing, note-taking, answering phone, and working cooperatively with other.

Computer skills including, but not limited to Pro Soft, Excel and Word.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or general accounting.

Prior experience in public education, municipal government, or fund accounting is highly preferred. Familiarity with Pennsylvania school finance and PDE reporting is a significant advantage.

Proficiency in specialized financial accounting software (e.g. CSI, Pro Soft, Skyward, or similar ERP systems) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

High ethical standards, strict confidentiality, strong organizational skills.

Salary and Benefits per the Clairton Secretarial Association/District Agreement.

Hiring for any District position is subject to the Board of Directors approval.
