Description
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of advanced industrial equipment used in vacuum processing applications. This position is responsible for creating dependable and manufacturable electrical systems, utilizing engineering design tools and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in electrical design and will contribute to projects from concept through implementation in a custom manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and detail electrical components and systems for safe, reliable equipment operation
- Design electrical power distribution systems for vacuum and process equipment
- Design and document equipment control systems
- Create and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) in the corporate ERP system
- Perform prototype assembly, wiring, testing, and validation of components and sub modules
- Execute cost‑effective engineering improvements to reduce the cost of existing components
- Support engineering projects to meet schedule, cost, quality, and performance targets
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams
- Occasional domestic travel may be required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of electrical design experience
- Strong CAD experience with electrical drawings and schematics
- Proficiency with industry compliance codes and standards including NEC, NFPA, UL, and CE
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clairton, PA.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
