Kutamani Developmental Services is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to provide afternoon and evening ABA services to children in the Pittsburgh area, primarily within and around the 15025 ZIP code.
The BHT is a direct-care professional who works one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or related developmental needs. Services are primarily provided in the client’s home and community during after-school and evening hours.
The BHT works under the clinical supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS). The supervising clinician develops the client’s individualized treatment plan, while the BHT implements interventions, collects data, documents each session, and communicates observations and progress to the clinical team.
This position is ideal for candidates seeking consistent afternoon/evening work and those interested in gaining hands-on experience in ABA, behavioral health, psychology, education, social work, or related fields.

Provide direct, one-on-one ABA services to assigned clients in home and community-based settings.
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising BCBA or LBS.
Implement behavior-reduction and skill-acquisition strategies using approved ABA techniques, including natural environment teaching (NET) and other individualized interventions.
Collect accurate and objective data during each session to measure client progress toward treatment goals.
Complete clinical session notes accurately and within required documentation timelines.
Build positive and professional therapeutic relationships with clients and their families.
Support clients with communication, social, behavioral, adaptive, and daily living skills as identified in their treatment plans.
Respond appropriately to challenging behaviors by following the client’s behavior intervention plan and approved non-aversive strategies.
Communicate significant behavioral changes, safety concerns, incidents, and barriers to treatment to the supervising clinician.
Participate in required supervision meetings, trainings, monthly check-ins, and professional development activities.
Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements and Kutamani policies.
Maintain reliable attendance and consistent availability for assigned afternoon/evening cases.
