As a Security Officer - Unarmed Clinical Rover in Clairton, PA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge checks, assist staff and visitors with clear communication and customer service, and document activity with professionalism.

    What You ll Do:

    • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
    • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate updates to appropriate personnel.
    • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns such as unsecured doors or unusual conditions.
    • Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification or visitor authorization as required, and directing individuals to appropriate destinations.
    • Complete required reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and participate in shift briefings and handoffs to support continuity of security-related operations.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Be at least 21 years of age.
    • Be willing and able to work at a hospital site with vaccines.
    • Be willing and able to work at a hospital site with a morgue.
    • Be willing and able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
    • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
    • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
    • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
    • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
    • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
