Learn more:  As a Patrol Officer in a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service.

You will conduct routine rounds, observe and report unusual activity, assist with access and visitor flow, and communicate clearly during incidents. At Allied Universal, you will bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts and coordinating notifications to appropriate facility personnel and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related hazards or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and public areas, verify authorization when required, and assist with visitor flow, way finding, and compliance with facility rules.
• Complete detailed reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff to support continuity of security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be able to work in a hospital environment with vaccines.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
