Job DescriptionPurpose This Standard Defines The Manufacturing Controls Engineer Job Description.
Responsibilities And Duties- Design, develop, and supervise electrical control systems, equipment and machinery
- Installation and technical support of PLC hardware and software. Programmable knowledge in PLC (Siemens preferred.)
- Assist with needs assessment for computer and software requirements in all areas of the facility.
- Assist with PLC and PC training as required.
- Designs, codes, tests and debugs simple programs. Maintains and documents programs.
- Assists higher level programmer/analyst/engineer with design work. Follows established methods and procedures.
- Responds to disruptions of production systems in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Helps provide solutions in making technical logic meet the needs of the users.
