Role Summary

The CNC Programmer is a full-time, on-site role based in Clanton, AL. This role is responsible for creating, testing, and optimizing CNC programs for machining composite materials and related components, ensuring precision and efficiency in production.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret technical drawings and CAD files to develop CNC programs for composite parts.
  • Select appropriate tools and machining parameters; set up CNC machines; and collaborate with operators to ensure accurate execution of programs.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs to improve cycle times and product quality.
  • Maintain documentation for all programs and processes.
  • Coordinate with engineering and production teams to support kit development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Experience in CNC programming and manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in milling operations on CNC equipment.
  • Experience interpreting technical drawings, including reading blueprints and CAD models.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software and nesting or flattening tools for composite parts is beneficial.
  • Previous experience in composites, aerospace, marine, or related manufacturing industries is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to safety and quality are required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining, manufacturing technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work on-site in Clanton, AL and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
