Warehouse Associate​/Backup Class B Driver – Clanton, AL

Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products operating out of 26 branches throughout the United States. Our primary business is non structural architectural grade building products sold principally to customers who create and produce end products for the commercial industrial retail residential and institutional markets. In New Century KS, Lebanon TN and Rockford IL we do business as Olathe Millwork, Warren Brothers, River City Millwork respectfully.

We are growing and seeking a Warehouse Associate & Backup Class B Delivery Driver. You will be responsible for a variety of warehouse duties to include receiving, unloading and storing material as well as picking and loading product for our customer orders. Additionally, you will use your CDL B license to serve as a backup delivery driver as needed.

• Offload trucks with materials from our vendor and load trucks with product to ship to our customers
• Operate a forklift; forklift operator experience and certification are a plus
• Ensure that material loaded for delivery matches customer orders
• Work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies
• Lift extremely heavy awkward products up to 50-100 pounds with a helper repeatedly to store and load onto a truck
• Use your CDL B license to deliver products on an occasional basis as a backup driver

• History of being a truck driver, delivery driver and especially experience with a Class B CDL or Class A CDL
• Interest in working for a company that values hard work and loyalty
• Strong physical stamina (this role requires a lot of physical activity)
• Highly organized and self motivated; should be a self starter who doesn't require constant supervision
• Experienced driver with a Class B driver's license (CDL
  
  B) and medical card
• Able to pass drug test, background Clearinghouse and motor vehicle pre-employment screen
• Required to pass a driving test
• Must be able to pass a physical examination as required by the U.S. Department of Transportation and provide a valid medical card
• This role is a Safety Sensitive position and subject to routine drug screenings
