Overview
Sylvan Learning Center of Claremont and Chino is looking for a Part-Time Teacher's Assistant/Aide. We are seeking a motivated and energetic individual to help our teachers prepare for instruction and assist them during instruction. You will be responsible for supervising our students during periods between instruction. The job involves clerical and administrative duties and requires strong computer and organization skills. You should have excellent communications skills and should be able to provide good customer service.
Experience in a prior position working with children in an education setting is a plus.
- Assist teachers with preparing instructional materials and supporting instruction.
- Assist during instructional periods as needed.
- Supervise students during times between instruction.
- Perform clerical and administrative duties and maintain organized records.
- Maintain strong computer skills and provide good customer service as part of daily operations.
- High school or equivalent
- Some college
- Experience in a position working with children in an education setting is a plus
