Position
Assistant Professor of Psychology:
Developmental Psychology (tenure‑track) at Pitzer College.
- Teach courses in quantitative and/or qualitative research methods.
- Offer a specialized research course (quantitative and/or qualitative).
- Provide instruction in introductory psychology, mid‑level courses in developmental, cognitive, and/or educational psychology, research methods, specialized research practica, seminar courses, and a writing‑intensive first‑year seminar.
- Engage students in learning and assessment activities.
- Ph.D. or Ed.D. in a relevant discipline.
- Prepared to teach research methods and a specialized research course.
- Expertise in Cognitive Development or Education preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to social responsibility, intercultural understanding, interdisciplinary learning, student engagement, and/or environmental sustainability.

- Salary range: $93,000 – $95,000, adjusted for internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
