Job DescriptionThe responsibilities of a real estate analyst include:
- Investment analysis
- Cash flow and risk/return modeling
- Researching and analyzing economic, demographic, financial, legal, and market-driven considerations for investment real estate and presenting this research through offering memoranda
- Interaction with institutional investors, loan officers, and real estate developers
Responsibilities may also include lease/contract analysis, marketing, banking/accounting functions, and technical support.
A hands-on training process will qualify the analyst to evaluate various types of commercial property, understand the intricacies of local and national real estate markets, and become capable of pricing risk.
Applicants are applying for a full-time role with a start date of March 2026 or July 2026. The real estate analyst role is largely an in-person position, with 4 days per week at Cronheim Mortgage’s Chatham, NJ office. Current employees live in Manhattan, Hoboken, Jersey City, Morristown, and other towns throughout Northern New Jersey.

Qualifications- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- 4-Year College Degree with Strong GPA
- Proven Analytical Ability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Excellent Attention to Detail
- 0-2 Years Experience
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or STEM is Preferred
