Gould Asset Management is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Client Service Associate (CSA). This is initially a full‑time, in‑office position in Claremont, California; a hybrid schedule may become available as you demonstrate proficiency in the role.
As a CSA, you will handle a range of responsibilities spanning investment operations and client relationship management. You will make clients feel cared for, solve complex problems, serve as a key support to senior client service staff, and work closely with the portfolio management team. This is a client‑facing role, so we are looking for someone who is highly personable and comfortable working with a wide variety of clients.

What You’ll Be Doing Investment Operations- Work with clients, advisors, and custodians to respond to service requests promptly and with minimal disruption to the client
- Prepare and process client account paperwork and track open items with the utmost attention to detail
- Facilitate transfers of funds and securities
- Research and resolve complex client account‑related issues
- Maintain client records and document account activities in our CRM (Salesforce)
- Reconcile daily cash flows across client accounts
- Prepare regular firm‑wide and client reports
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and keep them informed on outstanding service requests
- Build trust and maintain professional rapport with clients via phone, email, and in‑person meetings
- Coordinate with clients’ accountants and attorneys on tax and legal matters
- Manage inbound calls and emails from clients and custodians
- Experience working at a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), broker‑dealer, or custodian preferred; financial fluency is a plus
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional email etiquette
- Efficient time management and ability to juggle competing priorities
- Comfort navigating custodian platforms, document management systems, and CRM tools; experience with Salesforce, Docu Sign, and/or Tamarac is a plus—training provided
- Notary public a plus
- You have absolute integrity and deep respect for the confidentiality of client matters
- You are friendly, professional, and genuinely enjoy working with people
- You work independently, think critically, and take initiative without being asked
- You are curious and quick to pick up new tools and processes
Salary Range: $26–$33 per hour, commensurate with experience.
