We’re looking for a detail-oriented, performance-driven SEO Strategist to lead organic search strategy across multiple client accounts. This role is built for someone who can manage many moving pieces simultaneously and makes practical decisions grounded in data. You’ll own on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute SEO strategies across multiple client accounts, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, content planning, and local search visibility.
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify high-value opportunities aligned with client goals and market demand.
- Perform technical SEO audits and oversee implementation of improvements related to crawlability, indexing, site speed, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and overall site health.
- Optimize website architecture and on-page elements, including meta data, headers, internal linking, content structure, and user experience.
- Audit websites for local SEO opportunities and recommend new service pages, location pages, landing pages, and supporting content that drive organic growth.
- Identify content gaps and search intent opportunities that improve rankings, traffic, and lead generation.
- Evaluate landing page performance and recommend improvements to content, layout, calls-to-action, local relevance, and conversion paths.
- Develop and manage link acquisition strategies that strengthen authority and improve organic visibility.
- Utilize industry-leading SEO tools such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Rank Math, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and related platforms to identify opportunities, diagnose issues, and support data-driven decision making.
- Set up and maintain conversion tracking for key business actions, including form submissions, phone calls, and appointment bookings.
- Create clear, client-facing reports and communicate SEO performance, insights, recommendations, and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with developers, graphic designers, paid media teams, and account managers to ensure SEO recommendations are effectively implemented.
- Stay current on search engine algorithm updates, industry trends, and emerging opportunities to proactively improve client performance.
- Analyze data to uncover actionable insights and make recommendations based on measurable impact rather than assumptions.
- Think like a strategist, focusing on business outcomes, lead generation, and long-term growth rather than simply completing SEO tasks.
- 2+ years of experience in SEO, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, local SEO, and content strategy.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable recommendations that drive rankings, traffic, and lead generation.
- Experience conducting keyword research, competitor analysis, content audits, and SEO performance reviews.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as but not limited to Rank Math, Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and Google Tag Manager.
- Working knowledge of technical SEO concepts including crawlability, indexing, schema markup, Core Web Vitals, redirects, and site architecture.
- Experience identifying local SEO opportunities through location pages, service pages, Google Business Profiles, and localized content strategies.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and present recommendations clearly.
- Ability to think strategically, prioritize opportunities, and focus on measurable business outcomes.
- Experience with Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and AI Overview (AIO) strategies, including optimizing content for featured snippets, People Also Ask, and AI-generated search results
- Experience managing paid campaigns in Google Ads (Search, Display, or PMax) and/or Meta Ads Manager
- Understanding of lead generation strategies for service-based businesses through paid and organic channels
- Familiarity with Google Tag Manager for tracking setup and management
- Experience with reporting platforms such as Agency Analytics or Looker Studio
- Experience with Canva or similar tools for light creative design
- Comfortable with client-facing communication for strategy and performance discussions
- Naturally curious and data-driven.
