Hours: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17.50/hour
Job SummaryWe are looking for a Machine Operator I to join our client's Glass Room team. This is an entry-level position where you will operate glass presses and equipment, inspect parts for quality, complete production paperwork, and follow safety procedures. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
Responsibilities- Operate glass press machines and equipment following work instructions.
- Inspect parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Complete first article inspections and assist with production checks.
- Complete paperwork, including time slips, routers, and work instructions.
- Follow production schedules and meet daily goals.
- Use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Completely required training in equipment and safety.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to support production needs.
- Perform assembly-related tasks as needed.
- Use microscopes for cleaning and inspection purposes.
- No previous experience required; training will be provided.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, routers, and safety guidelines.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
