Assistant Principal

Claremont Middle School is seeking a dynamic, student-focused Assistant Principal to join our dedicated leadership team. This full-time administrative role works in close collaboration with the building principal to support school-wide operations, enhance student engagement, and promote a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily school operations and support implementation of emergency protocols and safety planning
  • Oversee student affairs including attendance, behavior, and discipline in alignment with restorative practices
  • Support special education programming in partnership with the Student Services team
  • Supervise and evaluate instructional and support staff in accordance with district policy and best practice
  • Contribute to the advancement of the school's mission, vision, and strategic goals
  • Actively participate in district and school-level committees and initiatives
  • Foster a positive school culture and strong relationships with students, families, and staff

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Educational Leadership or related field
  • New Hampshire Certification as a School Principal (Endorsement 0300)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience at the middle school level preferred
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to equity, student-centered practices, and professional collaboration
