Job Goals & ResponsibilitiesThe Restorative School Day Supervisor plays a pivotal role in fostering a positive and productive campus climate by bridging the gap between disciplinary action and academic success. Working in close 1:1 and group settings, the successful candidate collaborates with teachers, school administration, and the Restorative Justice Coordinator to address behavioral concerns through the lens of accountability and growth. The role involves supervising transitions, implementing tailored behavioral interventions, and ensuring that students remain on track with their work completion during periods of redirection.
By balancing firm expectations with empathetic support, the supervisor helps students repair harm, develop self-regulation skills, and successfully reintegrate into the classroom environment.
