Job Description

TITLE:

Charge Nurse - RN

SCHEDULE:

Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
Contract Length: 13 weeks

REQUIREMENTS:
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Active NH RN Licensure at the time of submission (Required)
- 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience (Required)
- Charge RN experience (Highly Preferred)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership and oversight in nursing unit operations throughout assigned shifts.
- Mentor and support new nurses to facilitate their transition from novice to expert.
- Oversee the practice of LPNs, RNs, and LNAs while delegating care appropriately.
- Coordinate nursing assignments and adjustments based on patient acuity or changes in unit operations.
- Assist with direct patient care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient management.
- Monitor documentation accuracy and ensure compliance with facility standards.
