A rapidly growing, family-owned food manufacturer is seeking a Production Planner to support continued expansion and operational excellence across its manufacturing network. This role sits at the center of plant operations in the United States, ensuring production plans align with customer demand, inventory strategy, and supply availability.

This position plays a key role in daily and weekly production planning, inventory alignment, and cross-functional coordination across operations, procurement, sales, logistics and customer service. The organization offers strong stability, a collaborative culture, and significant growth opportunities as the business continues to scale quickly.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage short-term production plans to meet customer demand, service targets, and plant capacity constraints
  • Translate forecasts and S&OP direction into executable weekly/daily production schedules across assigned product lines
  • Partner with plant leadership, procurement, sales, logistics and customer service to balance materials availability, inventory, labor, and production priorities
  • Monitor performance vs. plan, identify gaps, and drive schedule adjustments to maintain service and key KPIs
  • Maintain optimal finished goods and raw material inventory levels to support production continuity and minimize waste
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in production planning, supply planning, or materials planning within manufacturing (food or CPG strongly preferred)
  • Experience building and managing production schedules in a fast-paced, multi-SKU environment
  • Understanding of S&OP, demand planning, and inventory management principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel capability
  • Compensation from $95,000 to $110,000 based on experience
  • Hybrid: 2-days a week onsite
