Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of nursing professionals committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care. We are seeking a Clinical Coordinator to support the coordination and management of patient care activities.

- Function as a clinical/staff RN, occasionally responsible for a small patient assignment of 1-3 patients.
- Perform charge nurse duties, overseeing LPN, RN, and LNA practices, and delegate care as appropriate.
- Coordinate employee breaks and create nursing assignments, adjusting based on acuity levels and patient flow.
- Assist LPNs, RNs, and LNAs throughout the shift, including patient care, monitoring lab results, and consulting with departments as needed.
- Communicate concerns regarding employee performance and address conflicts in real-time.
- Ensure timely and accurate charting documentation.
- Collaborate with the nursing team and hospital management to coordinate daily unit activities, including discharges, admissions, and transfers.
- Serve as house supervisor and main resource on off shifts, ensuring seamless communication on bed availability and other critical updates.
- Facilitate patient transfers by communicating with other area hospitals regarding bed availability.
