Job Description:
This 13-week night assignment is in a rural LTC facility approximately 2 hours from Boston, MA. Candidates must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitor residents’ physical and mental status, report changes, and communicate with physicians.
• Administer medications, treatments, oxygen, and gastrostomy/jejunostomy feedings as ordered.
• Supervise LNAs, assign care tasks, and ensure compliance with state nursing regulations.
• Perform wound care, including wound vacs, and oversee infection control practices.
• Admit, discharge, and transfer residents with proper documentation.
• Maintain daily reports, communicate with families, and manage assigned unit during shift.
• Assist with orientation and ongoing training of nursing staff.

Requirements:

• 3+ years recent experience (within last 6 months) – REQUIRED
• Willingness to float where experienced – REQUIRED
• IV certified or willing to obtain during onboarding – REQUIRED
• COVID vaccination required (no exemptions) – REQUIRED
• Locals within 50 miles not accepted – REQUIRED
• Previous travel and rural/small facility experience – Highly Preferred

Certifications:

• Active NH LPN/LVN license
• BLS (AHA)
