Position: Med-Surg Nurse (RN) - Claremont, NH
A medical-surgical registered nurse (RN) is needed for the Kingsbury Unit, a 27-bed inpatient unit specializing in care for patients with a variety of medical and post-operative conditions.

This role offers 12-hour night shifts totaling 36 hours per week, including every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Location
Situated in Claremont, NH, the assignment is within a community-focused healthcare center known for comprehensive inpatient and surgical care. Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to adult and elderly patients, including those post-orthopedic surgery, general surgery, and with diagnoses such as CHF, pneumonia, and alcohol-related conditions.
• Manage patient care at a ratio of 5:1, with LNA support at a 3:1 ratio.
• Perform clinical tasks including central line care, Foley catheter insertion, management of various feeding tubes, IV medication administration, wound care, and oxygen therapy.
• Monitor and maintain post-surgical drains and patient stability.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical RN experience required.
• Demonstrated proficiency with post-surgical care, IV push medications, wound care, and oxygen therapy.
• Experience with telemetry and Epic electronic medical records is preferred.
• Must hold a valid New Hampshire RN license or a Compact RN license with proof of residency.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
