Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Registered Nurse is:
- Practices in alignment with the Academy of Medical Surgical Nursing.
- The specific patient population may include adults and geriatrics.
- The RN demonstrates the care and skills delineated in the Medical Surgical nurse competency verification tool, including but not limited to:
- Equipment
- Assessment
- Medication management
- Documentation
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- NH state Registered Nurse Licensure
- Current BLS
- BSN Preferred
