Schedule:

Evenings, 3 PM – 11 PM or 3 PM – 7 AM

Requirements:

• 3+ years of current experience (must be within the last 6 months)
• Must be willing to float where experienced
• IV certified (must be willing to obtain during onboarding if not certified)
• COVID vaccination required (declinations/exemptions are not accepted)
• Active license in the state
• Active BLS certification

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Observe residents continuously, reporting changes in their mental and physical well-being.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring accurate documentation in a computerized system.
• Supervise and assign tasks to nursing assistants, ensuring care aligns with their competencies.
• Perform wound care and monitor infection control practices within the unit.
• Manage the assigned unit during the shift, addressing resident concerns and coordinating care.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding resident status and new orders.

Compliance / Notes:

• All requests for time off (RTO) must be specified at the time of submission and cannot exceed 5 days (holidays not approved).
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted.
