CNA – LTC​/SNF

Nursing Assistant

Provides basic nursing and restorative care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility, supporting licensed nursing staff and ensuring resident safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver fundamental nursing and personal care to residents according to facility policies and resident care plans.
• Attend shift change reports and communicate significant observations to supervising licensed personnel.
• Assist residents with hygiene, grooming, dressing, and skin care treatments.
• Support residents with mobility, ambulation, transferring, and positioning to promote safety and comfort.
• Help residents with nutrition, hydration, toileting, bowel and bladder training, and monitor intake and output.
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations, ensuring resident safety and protecting rights at all times.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 1 year of current experience in a similar setting.
• Hold a valid CNA license and BLS (AHA) certification.
• Willing to work as a float and in multiple facility areas.
• Prior travel experience and rural facility work are highly preferred.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to follow care plans accurately.
