CNA – LTC​/SNF

Job Summary:

Provide basic nursing and restorative care to residents within a skilled nursing or long-term care facility, under supervision of licensed nursing staff. Focus on promoting residents’ well-being, safety, and comfort through personal and clinical assistance.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver essential daily care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and skin treatments in accordance with facility protocols and care plans.
• Assist residents with ambulation, movement, and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries and ensure comfort.
• Support residents with feeding, hydration, toileting, and waste elimination, including bowel and bladder training.
• Implement infection control practices consistently and respect residents’ spiritual and personal preferences.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including fire drills, resident falls, and wandering incidents, maintaining safety standards.
• Communicate significant observations to licensed staff and document care activities accurately.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid CNA certification and active state license.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 1 year's recent experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
• Willing to work a full schedule including weekends and holidays, as required.
• Capable of floating to different units as needed.
• Previous travel or rural facility experience preferred.
