How will you make an impact?As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, you will drive quality and process improvement within manufacturing operations in Claremont, NH. You will work directly with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to identify and eliminate defects, lead root cause analysis and corrective actions, develop control plans and quality standards, monitor supplier quality, and support calibration and document control activities.
What will you do?- Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure correct use of tools and materials and compliance with work instructions.
- Develop and maintain quality standards, including control plans, audit reports, and corrective actions.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and eliminate sources of defects within the manufacturing process.
- Monitor supplier quality to ensure raw materials and components meet specifications.
- Perform failure analysis on customer-returned products that are non-conforming.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001.
- Document quality issues and improvements, including CAPAs, deviation reports, and quality metrics.
- Support the document control process to ensure compliance with revision control requirements.
- Execute scheduled calibrations on electronic and mechanical tools and gauges.
- Document calibration activities, test results, and maintenance records to support compliance and traceability.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive corrective actions to completion within established timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role.
- Proficiency with quality management systems.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other industry standards.
- Experience with 8D problem solving and other analytical methods.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
- Ability to develop and maintain control plans and quality standards.
- Knowledge of supplier quality monitoring, calibration activities, and document control processes.
