How will you make an impact?As a Product Quality Engineer, you will support products from New Product Introduction (NPI) through high-volume manufacturing. You will partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify and mitigate product and process risks, establish Critical-to-Quality requirements and control plans, lead root cause and corrective action investigations, and use 8D, GR&R, capability analysis, and Lean principles to drive measurable quality improvements.
What will you do?- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures.
- Analyze product performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Conduct product testing and inspections to verify compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 requirements.
- Support corrective and preventive action processes.
- Maintain quality documentation and audit readiness.
- Verify that Critical-to-Quality requirements are properly documented as part of the NPI process.
- Perform appropriate risk assessments to eliminate and/or mitigate design and process risks.
- Implement control plans that address risks associated with the design and/or process.
- Lead investigations to determine root cause and corrective action (RCCA).
- Perform and analyze GR&R studies and capability analysis.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role.
- Experience introducing new products to high-volume manufacturing.
- Proficiency with quality management systems.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other industry standards.
- Experience with 8D problem solving and analytical methods.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ability to apply GR&R studies and capability analysis to manufacturing quality.
- Ability to establish Critical-to-Quality requirements, conduct risk assessments, and implement control plans.
