Accounts Receivable Specialist
Drive cash flow, accuracy, and accountability. You’ll own billing, payment application, account research, and proactive follow‑up on overdue balances—keeping the A/R ledger clean and stakeholders informed.
What you’ll do- Billing & invoicing: Generate and distribute accurate customer invoices; verify charges and terms before release.
- Payment posting: Apply payments (ACH/check/portal) promptly; reconcile unapplied cash and short pays.
- Account follow‑up: Contact customers on past‑due accounts
- Reporting: Maintain aging, DSO, and exception reports; support month‑end close activities.
- Account reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations of customer accounts to ensure accuracy, identify discrepancies, and maintain up‑to‑date A/R records.
- 3+ years of recent Accounts Receivable experience in a manufacturing company
. - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
. - Clear, professional communication with internal teams and customers.
