Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead all accounting and finance functions for a growing manufacturing company. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to own and improve the close process.

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close with a focus on accuracy and efficiency

+ Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)

+ Manage full-cycle accounting: A/P, A/R, general ledger, and reconciliations

+ Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain internal controls

+ Oversee cost accounting, including standard costing, inventory, and variance analysis

+ Partner with operations to improve costing, margins, and efficiency

+ Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and reporting requirements

+ Provide financial insights to support business decisions

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

+ 8+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing

+ Strong cost accounting and inventory experience

+ Proven ability to manage full-cycle accounting independently

+ Experience improving month-end close processes

+ Solid understanding of GAAP
