Job Summary

RCB Bank is looking for a Teller to handle customer transactions with professionalism, accuracy, and security compliance. The role includes greeting customers, processing deposits and withdrawals, verifying transactions, and maintaining a tidy desk environment.

• Obtain customer identification, signatures, and other required information; record and process all transactions according to regulations and procedures.
• Examine cash, checks, and other documents submitted for the transaction to verify authenticity, detect potential fraud or suspicious activity, and protect against financial loss; follow escalation procedures for unusual activity.
• Assist customers with questions and concerns during transactions; provide accurate information and refer to supervisors when necessary.
• Balance drawer at the end of shift and report any outages to the Teller Supervisor.

• Excellent communication skills with customers and co‑workers.
• Understanding of basic fraud indicators and commitment to proper escalation procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• A desire to be involved in the community.

• Customer service and cash handling experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of Teller Essentials training program after hire.

• Previous teller experience.

This position is in an office environment within a climate‑controlled facility that can be high‑traffic during peak service times. The role involves frequent use of the telephone, computer, and other office equipment. The individual will typically be seated at a desk for most of the day and must be able to work varying hours with general supervision.
