CF Industries is seeking a Rotating Equipment Engineer to drive reliability and performance of critical rotating machinery within our software-enabled industrial solutions. In this role, you will design, analyze, and optimize pumps, compressors, turbines, and related systems, using simulation tools and data-driven insights. You'll collaborate closely with software developers, reliability engineers, and operations teams to integrate sensor data, predictive analytics, and digital twins, helping prevent failures and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Design and specify rotating equipment for software-enabled industrial solutions
- Perform vibration, stress, and performance analyses on rotating machinery
- Develop digital models and simulations to predict equipment behavior
- Collaborate with software, reliability, and operations teams on system integration
- Define equipment standards, specifications, and documentation
- Monitor field performance data and recommend reliability improvements
- Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failures
- Provide technical guidance in vendor selection and equipment testing
- Contribute to predictive maintenance strategies using sensor and Io
- T data
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards
