• UT Health East Texas Rehabilitation Center includes a 49‑bed inpatient hospital, 14 outpatient therapy clinics, 11 cardiopulmonary rehabilitation clinics and nine Olympic fitness centers, with access to some of the most advanced therapy techniques and care available.

• The Patient Services Representative functions as a patient services professional in a call center or clinical front desk environment.
• Patient check‑in/out, appointment scheduling, scanning and filing documents, and insurance verification.
• Obtaining authorization, collecting payments, and charge posting.
• Faxing medical records requests and scheduling patients for injections at the hospital.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience posting payments and charge entry
• Basic personal computer skills and comfort with Microsoft Windows operating system; database and word processing skills required
• Patient record documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years recent experience in a clinic or healthcare setting.
