Get to Know Your Team:
  • Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity and women's services, ICU and cardiology services in the advanced cardiac catheterization lab.
  • Assists department director and Chief Radiologist in the supervision of staff nuclear medicine technologist.
  • Recommends organization and scheduling of staff, equipment maintenance, and required supply levels to provide patient services within the rules, laws and regulations of local and state agencies.
  • Prepares patients for scans of particular organs to furnish diagnostic information.
  • Operates radioscopic equipment to produce scanograms and measures concentration of radioactive isotopes in specified body areas.
  • Also provides support documentation for all procedures performed.
  • Assist with orientation of new employee.
  • Assists department PI program.
Job Requirements:
  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) with advanced certification in Nuclear Medicine or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (N.M.T.C.B.) or be a graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology and be registry eligible. If registry eligible upon hire, you must become registered within one year of employment and maintain registry while employed.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
