Call Banquet Server

Job Description

The On-Call Banquet Server is responsible for providing professional food and beverage service during banquets, meetings, and special events while delivering an exceptional guest experience. This position is on‑call only, with schedules determined by business demands. Employees are required to maintain at least one (1) eight‑hour period of availability each week for potential on‑call assignments, though no weekly hours are guaranteed.

• Provide professional, friendly, and efficient food and beverage service to banquet guests.
• Set up, serve, and clear banquet tables throughout events.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations, including verifying guest identification.
• Perform pre-bussing and maintain clean dining and service areas.
• Process guest payments when applicable.
• Assist with banquet setup, breakdown, and other event‑related duties as assigned.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while working as part of a team.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of banquet serving experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Food Handler's Card.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a state‑issued alcohol beverage license, if required.
• Ability to complete required alcohol awareness training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed and maintain at least one (1) eight‑hour period of weekly availability for on‑call assignments.
