Job DescriptionHR Advisor is responsible for supporting HR activities within CF Industries, Inc., including recruiting, employee relations, training, compensation, and performance management. The incumbent also leads HR projects and process improvements to enhance HR service delivery, streamline programs, standardize processes, and use data analytics for business decisions.
Major Responsibilities- Provide guidance and support on HR policies and programs covering people strategies, organizational design, employee relations, benefits, compensation, performance management, training, development, and staffing.
- Support employees and managers across multiple business segments.
- Coach and mentor managers on performance issues.
- Investigate employee relations issues as needed.
- Collaborate with all HR functional areas to provide support where needed.
- Plan and conduct employee orientation, including new‑hire paperwork and training.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
- Execute and control HR projects, ensuring understanding of process and system design.
- Lead project planning and monitoring, manage risk, identify opportunities for best practices, communicate with the team, and keep projects on budget and on time. Report status, risk, and issues to the appropriate HR owner.
- Partner with project owners and SMEs in HR, IT, and manufacturing to deliver solutions aligned with company strategy.
- Engage stakeholders across the business on key initiatives and change impacts.
- Interact with process owners, vendors, and stakeholders to drive discussions and agree on key decisions.
- Champion change to drive key initiatives across the business.

- Education: BS/BA in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Years of Experience: 2 or more years of related professional work experience.
- Other unique job relevant attributes:
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, procedures, principles, and strategies.
- Technical knowledge of Workday (preferred) or similar system and ability to use data for analytics.
- Strong project management skills.
- Comfortable speaking with C‑suite stakeholders.
- Effective written and verbal communication and training delivery at all organization levels.
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Breadth of Scope: Primarily within a single functional area, with increased coordination across multiple functions.
- Communications and Interpersonal Skills: Communicates regularly in writing and verbally with internal and external customers, vendors, and teammates.
- Complexity: Handles increasingly complex challenges, plans own activities, and applies critical thinking.
- Decision Making Authority: Decisions guided by established policies; seeks guidance for exceptions.
- Financial Accountability: Decisions may impact profit or loss but are governed by organizational policies.
- Strategic Influence: May impact execution of short‑term strategic initiatives but not involved in planning.
