Position OverviewThe Customer Support Rep serves as a key liaison between customers, production, and internal teams to ensure accurate scheduling, smooth order flow, and on-time delivery. This Customer Support Rep role supports production coordination, materials planning, and customer communication in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Experience & Skills- Minimum 3 years of scheduling experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Proficiency with ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments
- Serve as primary point of contact for customers, providing updates on order status and delivery schedules
- Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and shipping teams to ensure on-time product delivery
- Manage production scheduling and material readiness to maintain workflow efficiency
- Monitor production control activities to balance quality, cost, and timelines
- Track material movement throughout the production cycle to prevent delays
- Optimize schedules and resource allocation to improve operational efficiency
- Maintain accurate documentation related to customer orders and schedules
- Support additional operational and customer service tasks as needed
