COProduction Technician

Job Overview:

The Linde Gases (LGUS) division of Linde, Inc. is currently seeking a Production Technician in Claremore, OK. The production technician will be responsible for operating a CO2 plant safely, reliably, and efficiently. The role focuses strongly on production and instrumentation and includes routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, calibrations, and installations. The candidate must be able to work across departmental lines and interpret manufacturers' manuals to repair mechanical, electrical, electronics, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, P&'s, and one line diagrams
• Performing calibration of analyzers and field instrumentation, and assisting in troubleshooting control system problems up to 600

• Having a working knowledge of computers and typical programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Projects)
• Monitoring process performance and making adjustments to remedy deviations and align with specified norms
• Operating units to supply products in quantities and qualities safely and economically, complying with environmental regulations, quality standards, and daily customer requirements
• Safely troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all rotating equipment and associated mechanical systems, including compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, boiler systems, valves, and performing equipment alignments

Responsibilities and duties are typically focused but non‑routine at this level. The position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, being on call, and some weekends. Overnight travel for training and work at other locations may also be required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree in Applied Sciences or preferred apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• 2 or more years of production operations experience in an industrial environment.
• Proficiency with a variety of I/E hand tools, meters, instrument calibration equipment, etc.
• Working knowledge of electricity, electrical systems, motors, processing and cooling equipment.
