Job Summary:
As a Structure Welder, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality, specialized metal components and assemblies. Utilizing your expertise in various welding techniques, you will contribute to the creation of innovative solutions that meet the unique needs of our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG/Flux Core and structural welding on a variety of metal components and assemblies
- Demonstrate proficiency in vessel/exchanger welding techniques
- Adhere to strict quality control standards to ensure the integrity and precision of all welded parts
- Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve any welding-related issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient and safe operations
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a structure welder or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Hardwire MIG, and structural welding techniques
- Familiarity with vessel/exchanger welding processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Working Conditions:
This position involves working in a controlled, indoor manufacturing environment. The work schedule is full-time, and the position may require occasional overtime to meet production deadlines. Candidates should be comfortable with the physical demands of welding, including standing for extended periods, lifting heavy materials, and working in a potentially noisy environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
The pay rate for this position is $18-$25 per hour, based on experience and weld test. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
