Air Cooler Louvers Manufacturing Helper
An Air Cooler Louvers Manufacturing Helper assists in the assembly and fabrication of industrial air cooler louvers. Responsibilities include operating machinery, using hand and power tools, inspecting assemblies for accuracy, maintaining a clean workspace, and strictly adhering to safety protocols while meeting daily production quotas.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assembly Support:
Assist lead assemblers in putting together industrial louvers and adjusting mechanisms for optimal airflow control. - Tool Operation:
Safely utilize hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment to secure parts, rivet, or screw materials together. - Material Handling:
Load, unload, and stage raw materials (e.g., aluminum, steel), hardware, and finished louver blades within the manufacturing facility. - Quality Control:
Visually inspect completed louver assemblies for defects, warping, and alignment accuracy. - Site Maintenance:
Keep the workstation organized, sweep floors, remove scrap metal/debris, and perform routine equipment upkeep. - Safety Compliance:
Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), follow lockout/tagout procedures, and maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand or walk for 8–10 hour shifts and frequently lift/move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.). - Mechanical Aptitude:
Basic knowledge of mechanical assemblies and the ability to safely operate drills, grinders, and fastening tools. - Basic Math & Literacy:
Ability to read blueprints/schematics and use/read tape measures with precision. - Education:
High school diploma or GED is generally required. - Experience:
Previous manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse experience is highly preferred, though entry-level training is often provided.
