Rotational Mold Machine Operator

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Rotational Mold Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up molds, load raw plastic materials, operate industrial rotational molding ovens, and inspect finished products for quality. Job responsibilities include cleaning molds, applying release agents, and securing required hardware inserts. You will measure and load exact amounts of plastic resin powder into mold cavities.

You will set up, operate, and monitor rotational molding machinery and oven cycles. You will unload finished plastic parts from molds safely after the cooling cycle. You will use basic hand tools to trim excess material (flash) from parts. You will inspect finished goods for defects like thin spots, bubbles, or warpage. You will maintain a clean, safe workspace and document daily production logs.

Requirements and qualifications include a high school diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required. Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, machine operation, or warehouse environments is required. Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools (drills, trimmers, wrenches) is required. Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly during shifts is required. Comfort working in a fast-paced factory environment with high-temperature ovens is required.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety protocols is required.
