Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p 8.5 hour shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our skilled nursing facility team. As a DON, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department, providing high-quality patient care, and ensuring that all nursing staff adhere to facility policies and procedures.

Your leadership and clinical skills will be essential in delivering compassionate and effective care to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to nursing staff to ensure high standards of care.

• Ensure that care practices and documentation meet regulatory standards and facility policies.

• Perform regular audits of patient records and care practices to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Address and resolve any patient or family concerns regarding care.

• Serve as the primary point of contact between the nursing department and other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers.

• Communicate effectively with residents and their families regarding care plans, treatment options, and progress.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
