Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Correctional Facility
Position: LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
Location:
Rogers County Jail, Claremore, OK 74017
Salary Range: $26.00 – $27.00 per hour
Employment Type:
Staff (full‑time)
- Render nursing care in an assigned area according to individualized client needs, following recognized nursing techniques, procedures, and established standards within the scope of practical nursing.
- Provide safe, secure, and unconventional healthcare support to inmate populations ranging from 25 to nearly 2,000 individuals in the facility.
- Maintain compliance with facility protocols, including shift requirements (12‑hour night shifts available, rotating weekends), and safety standards.
- Document all care activities, administer treatments, and communicate with registered nurses regarding patient status.
- Vaccines are not mandatory.
- Valid, unrestricted LPN license in Oklahoma.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
