Level 3 RN – Emergency Room

Claremore, OK | Acute Care

Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts (7:30 PM – 8:00 AM)

• Assess patients' clinical conditions across all age groups, recognizing and prioritizing serious situations and taking immediate appropriate action
• Initiate emergency measures when the physician is not immediately available
• Operate and monitor specialized emergency care equipment including infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors
• Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed, including medications, IV therapy, respiratory therapy, and mechanical ventilation
• Document patient observations, nursing interventions, therapeutic measures, and coordinated care activities
• Plan, develop, and coordinate care delivery while maintaining adequate unit supplies and a safe environment

• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License required
• Required
  
  Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively multi-task
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must meet pre-employment credentialing clearances including background check and drug screen
• Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 50 lbs

• 5 or more years of Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
• Experience managing patients presenting with trauma, accidents, and complex medical ailments
