** Job Description
**** The Project
** The Alkimos Sea Water Alliance project will deliver WA's next major water source - A new seawater desalination plant  completion of stage 1 the plant will supply up to 50 billion litres of clean, safe drinking water to millions of Western Australians each year.

The project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks.
** About the Role
** We are seeking an experienced carpenter to join our team at the Alkimos Desalination Plant. Reporting to the supervisor, you will be responsible for the following:
* Construct and dismantle conventional and formwork systems for complex concrete structures.
* Constructing water retaining structures.
* Reading and interpreting plans, working collaboratively with steel fixers, concreters, engineers and site supervisors to meet project timelines.
* Great understanding and adherence of all Health and Safety policies and Procedures

** Required Skills and Competencies
*** Relevant Trade Certificate
* Construction Induction Card (white card)
* All round experience with formwork, steel fixing and concrete finishing favourable as well as the ability to operate earthmoving equipment
* 5 + Years Experience in Civil Construction Environment
* Understanding and adherence of all Health and Safety policies and Procedures
