Assist with the completion of preventive maintenance and general maintenance repairs under the supervision of the maintenance Lead and Supervisor;
Repair worn parts, straighten and fabricate fixtures and equipment through welding (MIG welding, stick welding in all positions) and cutting (hand gas and plasma torches);
Carry out general house cleaning tasks and perform general responsibilities such as recording labor and materials in the IFS system and the reporting of abnormal conditions and safety hazards;
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and basic mechanical drawings;
Review projects and work assignments for potential hazards and recommend safest ways to complete the job
