Intern, Instrumentation and Electrical Technician
This internship offers hands‑on experience in the installation, operation, and maintenance of critical industrial systems including electronic instrumentation, distributed control systems, electrical distribution, pneumatic/hydraulic controls, and control valves. The role supports plant operations, safety, and project installation under the guidance of the I&C Engineer.
Responsibilities- Prioritize safety through hazard identification and safety meetings.
- Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair electronic instruments.
- Learn control loop tuning, valve rebuilding, and pneumatic positioner work.
- Gain experience in electrical system troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Participate in HAZOPs, change management, and procurement.
- Support plant project installation, commissioning, and documentation.
- Enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering program.
- Enrolled in an accredited Instrumentation Engineering program.
