Job Coach, Social Work, Career & Life Skills Coaching

Home of Hope seeks a compassionate Job Coach to support homeless young mothers and their children through goal-focused coaching and job readiness services. The Job Coach will assess client strengths, develop individualized plans, teach employment and life skills, and connect families with education, training, and job opportunities. This on-site role collaborates with a multidisciplinary, faith-centered team to create a safe, nurturing environment that promotes healing, stability, and long-term self-sufficiency.

Ideal candidates bring experience in case management, workforce development, or youth services, strong communication skills, and a heart for mission-driven work.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one coaching to help clients set and achieve education, employment, and life goals
• Develop individualized service and action plans aligned with program requirements
• Teach job readiness skills including resume writing, interview preparation, and workplace expectations
• Coordinate with internal staff, community partners, and employers to connect clients to opportunities
• Track client progress, maintain accurate case notes, and prepare required reports
• Facilitate small-group workshops on life skills, goal setting, and employment topics
• Support clients in accessing education, training, and community resources
• Model professional behavior consistent with the organization's faith-centered values
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and case reviews to improve services
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and trauma-informed environment for all participants
