Accounting - Accounts Receivable

Caro Trans, a leading International Freight Company and subsidiary of the Mainfreight group is looking for a candidate to join our Corporate Accounting Team in our Clark, NJ office.

This position is with our Accounts Receivable Team. It is a excellent opportunity to start into the Corporate Accounting field with an ability to grow and learn more areas of Accounting and/or Supply Chain/Logistics. Think of this as a start to a career rather than a job.

• Collection and reconciliation of past due accounts
• Reporting and analysis
• Communication with customer base and team members from all offices, with a focus on our Midwest regional customer base

• An understanding of accounting and financial processes in business
• Strong customer service skills for phone and email work,
• Be self- motivated and able to work independently while keeping in mind team goals/KPIs
• Proficient in Excel
• Freight industry experience a plus
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting not required, but a plus
