Senior Scientific Liaison II, Hair Color Scientific Valorization

Responsibilities- Act as a strategic scientific partner to hair color brands, supporting product development from concept through launch.
- Collaborate with marketing and laboratory teams to anticipate scientific claims enabled by technology innovation.
- Develop claim direction and substantiation strategy, including risk assessment and testing plans.
- Create scientific storytelling and narrative assets for packaging, advertising, digital content, and training.
- Coordinate testing activities with laboratory, analytical, safety, and clinical teams, and interpret results to guide decision‑making.
- Advocate hair color technologies across cross‑functional groups, ensuring clear, differentiated scientific narratives.
- Engage with global R&I hubs, legal, regulatory, and governance teams to maintain scientific rigor and compliance.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific discipline (required)
- Master’s or Ph.D. preferred
- Experience:
- 7+ years in cosmetics, personal care, or related industry (Hair Color knowledge preferred)
- Strong background in scientific communication, claims substantiation, and testing methodology
- Experience working in complex, matrixed, international environments

Competencies:- Strategic thinking and ability to translate science into brand‑relevant value.
- Strong scientific judgment and constructive challenge of ideas.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while maintaining rigor.
- Collaborative mindset with effectiveness across functions and geographies.
- Required to work onsite in the office 3 days a week.
- Eligible to work in the United States on a full‑time, permanent basis; no immigration sponsorship offered.
- Competitive base salary range: $90,200 – $128,500.
