A Day in the Life- Act as the regulatory compass for formulation product development teams, reviewing products end‑to‑end to ensure compliance with global regulatory standards and flagging potential issues early.
- Partner closely with labs and R&I scientists, providing expert real‑time regulatory guidance that empowers innovation while staying within compliance boundaries.
- Lead the preparation and critical review of regulatory compliance documentation, ensuring submissions are accurate, complete, and reflect our commitment to consumer safety.
- Serve as a trusted subject‑matter expert, fielding inquiries from internal stakeholders on ingredients, formulations, and regulatory requirements and translating complexity into clear guidance.
- Manage and prioritize regional regulatory projects across countries, collaborating across teams to align timelines, resolve challenges, and keep product launches on track.
- Continuously monitor the global regulatory environment, assess the business impact of emerging regulations, and lead the organization’s strategic response.
- Champion regulatory reporting and registration requirements across markets, ensuring the portfolio is always registration‑ready and compliant across every geography we operate in.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Chemistry, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field (required). Master’s degree or advanced certification in Regulatory Affairs (e.g., RAC) is a plus. - Experience:
3–5 years in regulatory affairs, product safety, or a compliance‑focused role within cosmetics, personal care, or the chemical industry. - Technical Expertise:
- Knowledge of international cosmetic, chemical, and OTC regulations (e.g., EU Cosmetics Regulation, FDA, global registration frameworks).
- Experience conducting regulatory compliance reviews for raw materials and finished formulations.
- Experience supporting regulatory reporting and product registration across multiple markets.
- Strong chemistry background to assess formulation components from a regulatory perspective.
- Soft Skills & Attributes:
- Collaborative, strong interpersonal skills and ability to partner with scientists, marketers, and leadership at all levels.
- Highly organized with proven project and time‑management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Creative problem‑solver who approaches regulatory challenges pragmatically with a solution‑forward mindset.
- Clear, confident communicator in writing and verbally, able to simplify complex regulatory content for diverse audiences.
- On‑site requirement:
Must be in the office at least 3 days per week. - Authorization to work in the United States on a full‑time, permanent, ongoing basis is required. No immigration support or sponsorship is offered.
